How to Submit a Design

Follow these easy steps to begin your design to win the monthly competition.

3.	Uploading your Design. To submit your design, click here to upload design. Please select which competition you are uploading to. (At upload design page, member must agree to terms).

Submission Guidelines

• You may submit multiple designs or phrases for any competition.
• When submitting a design, you may also provide insight and commentary on your design. You can submit your bio when you register to become a member. You must login before submitting your design. If you are not a registered member, please register.
• Creating Your Design
  • Create your design using Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw or Freehand.
  • You can use the available templates in the Design Gallery. The layers in the templates are the available shirt colors for our unisex tees.
  • If your design is going to be centered in the front of the shirt, use the template that is a plain square. This will allow more of the detail of your design to be seen online.
  • If your design is going to be printed in non-standard areas, such as the hemline, the shoulders, etc., use the template that is a picture of a shirt. This will allow the full impact of your design to be seen online.
  • Save the design at 300 dpi, Photoshop -.PSD, Illustrator – EPS..
  • Photoshop files: At needs to be created in RGB mode.
  • Illustrator files: Art needs to have spot colors or PMS colors assigned.
  • Convert all text to paths, curves or outlines.
  • Do not use gradient or transparent layers
  • Please keep your design to a maximum of 5 colors. Black and white count as colors!
  • The standard printing area on the front of a shirt is 14x14.
• Submitting Your Design for the Contest
• Save another version of your art as a JPEG or GIF at 72 dpi 640x640 pixels.
• Upload under submit graphic design in the Design Gallery.
• If your design wins and is selected for printing.
• You will be contacted and asked to provide the high resolution file for your design. See Creating Your Design above for details.
• The $200.00 payment will be paid after your design is received and we have verified that it meets all art requirements.
• The $1.00 royalty payments will typically be paid within 14 days of the end of the month, however, if your royalty payment is less than $10.00, it will not be paid until such time that it exceeds $10.00 or your shirt is no longer in stock.
• T-shirt competitions are semi-monthly and then the final scoring begins. During the rating period, My Shirt Crowd members and the creative team at My Shirt Crowd will score the designs submitted with a score from A, B, C, D, or F. The design with the highest average score wins. (A is the highest score and F is the lowest score).
• You must be 13 years or older to submit and win a competition design.
• Your design submitted must be your original work and right of use. You may not submit your design to any other company. If your design is chosen to get printed, you give us the exclusive rights of ownership of use to print and reproduce your design.

The Design Competition Contest

After submitting your design, My Shirt Crowd members will score each design with a grade of A, B, C, D, or F. The design with the highest average score wins. (A is the highest score and F is the lowest score). After the scoring deadline, we will announce the winner on the homepage. If your design wins the competition, you will receive a $200.00 cash prize, $1.00 for each shirt sold by My Shirt Crowd with your winning design, along with one complementary t-shirt with your winning design. The winning design will be available for purchase and you will be profiled as the winner of the specific competition on our designer profile page.

After becoming a member, you can rate designs, purchase merchandise and submit designs.

After a competition is announced, think about what creative designs you and your friends like to wear and purchase.

After uploading your design to enter into the My Shirt Crowd competition, encourage people to participate and rate your designs by using the web site.

The best design of the monthly competition will win a $200.00 cash prize, $1.00 per shirt sold and a t-shirt with your winning design. Your design will be available for My Shirt Crowd members to purchase and you will be profiled on the home page as the winner of the competition!
